We use Benjamin Moore paints, available in several different grades. Throughout all of our painting experience, we’ve come to recognize that even the “lowest” quality paint made by Benjamin Moore, still outperforms the competitors’ products in each category. By using Benjamin Moore, we are able to provide you with what we believe to be the best quality paint available on the market. Their lines of Aura and Regal Select paints are highly washable, durable, and fade-resistant. They make a scuff resistant paint called Scuff-X, which we love to use in higher traffic areas to keep wear and tear to a minimum. We also offer more economical Benjamin Moore choices if you prefer, which still stand up to the test of time and will all be covered by our lifetime warranty.
We thoroughly clean contaminated surfaces prior to painting, which ensures that our topcoat adheres properly. We apply paint with PATIENCE, which we’ve found is the number one element that other paint contractors can tend to overlook. Each job is unique, and there is no single best way to approach each one, other than to give the project the time needed to do things right. It’s not a race, and if you hire the cheapest/fastest painter available, you may just find yourself becoming a spectator as they sprint towards the finish, skipping steps and leaving a mess in their wake. Unfortunately, you may only find out years later that your job wasn’t done the way it should’ve been, with no warranty to cover you. We use Benjamin Moore and Zinsser primers whenever needed, making sure to select the CORRECT primer for each situation we encounter. Issues such as water/rust stains, pen/marker/crayon, tannin bleed(sap from raw wood), grease/tar, mildew/mold, etc. all require a slightly different approach, and sometimes we’ll use several different primers on your project if needed. We are also able to paint some tougher surfaces like plastic, metal, and vinyl, by using a bonding primer before we paint.

Cleanliness is extremely important to us, especially now that we’re in the midst of a pandemic. We are practicing social distancing in every interaction with our clients, and we use personal protective equipment to help ensure that we do not contaminate you home while we are working in it. Wearing disposable gloves was already a standard practice for us, and now we’ve added wearing N95(or higher) respirator masks throughout the course of your project.
We use a 99.7% dustless sanding system when we sand our wall repairs, to avoid dust contamination throughout your project workspace and beyond. Whenever possible, we clean our tools and equipment off-site, so we don’t leave any unnecessary messes in your home. We cover floors, furniture, and fixtures while we work, in order to keep the paint from going anywhere that it doesn’t belong. As an added precaution during the pandemic, we’ve started to rotate the use of our drop cloths, to allow time for the decontamination of any potential viruses they may have come in contact with.
